لِّيُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ فَوۡزًا عَظِيمٗا

Wa legislation qaatalakumul lazeena kafaroo la wallawul adbaara summa laa yajidoona waliyanw-wa laa naseeraa

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

[And] that He may well confess the believing Males plus the believing Females to gardens beneath which rivers stream to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds – and ever is always that, within the sight of Allah, an incredible attainment –

“Nay, ye considered that the Messenger plus the Believers would in no way return to their households; this seemed satisfying within your hearts, and ye conceived an evil assumed, for ye are a persons missing (in wickedness).”

Wa yu’azzibal munaafiqeena walmunaafiqaati wal mushrikeena walmushrikaatiz zaaanneena billaahi zannas observed’; ‘alaihim daaa’iratus saw’i wa ghadibal laahu ‘alaihim wa la’anahum wa a’adda lahum jahannama wa saaa’ at maseeraa

Nay, but ye deemed which the messenger along with the believers would by no means return to their own individual folk, and that was produced fairseeming as part of your hearts, and ye did Assume an evil thought, and ye ended up worthless folks.

48:20 وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَٰذِهِ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ عَنْكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ آيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا Allah has promised you much booty that you will just take [Sooner or later] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the palms of individuals from you - that it might be an indication for that believers and [that] He could information you to a straight route.
